Finally, your new bundle of joy has arrived BUT where is the manual that tells you what to do now? When I had my daughter I have to admit I was a little nervous and found looking after a newborn somewhat daunting. I didn't grow up with younger siblings to see what my Mum did to look after a baby, so I found myself reading the 'Baby' books and asking my friends who had already gone through it. What surprised me most was how amazing my inner maternal instincts all of a sudden took over. So many times I used to hold other babies like they were china dolls. When it came to my own, I realised they weren't made of china and they weren't going to break. I only had two 'Baby' books but I do know that there are many parents out there that practically have a library - and there's nothing wrong with that at all. But if there's only one topic you really need to understand and you don't want to spend a fortune on a book that you only want for one chapter, I have saved you some money here. On a regular basis I will be adding very interesting, informative articles on all aspects of parenting, baby and toddler topics. Most of these articles have been sourced from other parenting resources, written by experts in their field. I have also included articles written by other Mums about their opinions too.
